When a section was licensed for Classroom it was automatically licensed for Assessment as well. Assessment-Only Districts: sections are automatically licensedįor districts that have both Classroom and Assessment, previously, s ections had to be manually licensed for Classroom via the Classroom Licensing application.Classroom-Only Districts: sections must be manually licensed via the Classroom Licensing application.These changes ONLY affect districts that have both OnCourse Assessment AND Classroom.įor d istricts that ONLY have Classroom or ONLY have Assessment, licensing functions as it always has. OnCourse has made changes to the way Classroom and Assessment sections are licensed. Until the student is enrolled in at least one licensed Classroom class or group. Hovering over the next to the value in the LMS Access column, you will see the following message:Įven if access is given to the student, this value will continue to say "No" This is because the student must be enrolled in at least one LICENSED Classroom class or group. *If permission is given to a student but the No value in the LMS Access column does not change to a Yes value, there is a reason. Both of these can be accomplished using the Classroom Licensing application. As well, the student needs to be given permission. Before students are able to view a section in the Classroom LMS tab in OnCourse Connect, the class needs to be licensed. ![]()
